Viagra for women

Viagra is the most famous prescription only drug for erectile dysfunction in men. The term "Female Viagra" has been around for some time although there was nothing as such available for use in women. It has now been reported by the BBC that a drug that failed tests as an antidepressant is being hailed as "Viagra for women" after surprising but not unpleasant side effects.

The drug surprisingly increased women's sex drive in three separate trials. The accidental discovery of this drug is similar to Viagra's discovery ten years ago. Viagra was originally designed as a heart medicine.

  1. Another accidental discovery of the medicine? This is why science is very amazing.

Well, women need some sort of simulators sometimes, as well as men. So there is nothing unusual in this....

  3. I think women don't really need Viagra, if this drug made for a purpose but works now for another purpose then that is fine but i think it should be checked again to see really what causes the reaction.

  5. Some of the greatest discoveries were by accident. I've actually heard of women who have taken viagra for men. At least now they'll have a legit pill.

  8. Female viagara, huh? I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm still amazed at how far technology has come. At least I know what to get my husband now for his birthday.

  9. I am just wondering. Can anyone provide an authoratative site to support the claim that Viagra "is also capable of arousing women for greater sexual drive" ?
I have seen no research to support this claim and in fact IIRC recent studies show this to be false.

Well if it is there then it's really helpful for some of the needy ones.
